When Your Systems Stop,
Your Clients Wait

Your agency runs on systems that can't go down
Your agency management system, carrier portals, email, and remote access keep your CSRs and producers quoting, servicing, and binding. When one of them stops working, the phones keep ringing anyway.

And then nobody answers
You call for IT help and get voicemail, or a callback tomorrow. So you end up as your agency's IT department, restarting equipment and chasing vendors instead of serving clients. It's frustrating, and underneath it is a real worry about letting down the clients who count on you.

We believe the agencies that protect their communities deserve the same responsiveness and protection they give their own clients.

What it looks like for an agency we support
When two team members at one of our agency clients needed to work from home, they called our help desk. A technician had them both connected securely within about 30 minutes. Later, we upgraded the agency to a more secure remote-access system as a planned project.

When faxing between the agency's offices stopped working, a technician took the call live, worked with the phone provider to find the problem, and had faxing working again the same day.

Neither problem landed on the owner's desk. That's the point.

A Local IT Partner That Understands How Your Agency Runs

We understand how stressful it is when technology fails at the worst possible moment: in the middle of renewal season, with a client on the phone, or right before coverage needs to be bound. That's why Tomorrow's Technology Today has supported local businesses for more than 20 years, and independent insurance agencies since 2011.

A Real Person Answers: Technicians answer the phone live during the business day. No phone tree, no waiting for tomorrow's callback.

We Know Agency Technology: We've worked with several agency management systems, plus the carrier portals, raters, scanning, and remote access your team relies on.

Switching Without the Disruption: Every new client gets a dedicated project manager through our Great Start onboarding. We coordinate directly with your current provider, so the change doesn't land on you or your team.

Plain English, No Jargon: You'll know what we're doing and why, without needing to become a technology expert.

Local and Woman-Owned: We're based in St. Henry, with an office in Fort Wayne and team members in Lima and Dayton. Recognized with a 2024 MSP Titans of the Industry Award (Women Owned/Led) and by the Lima Chamber as a Women-Owned Business.

Technology should just work, like a pen putting ink on paper. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.

Service And Support You Can Count On

In 2017, our remote IT guy retired, making us search for a local IT company. We choose Tomorrow's Technology Today. The single biggest benefit our company experienced is the ability to concentrate on selling and serving insurance rather than dealing with our technology and computer issues.

Insurance Agency IT: Frequently Asked Questions

What does a managed IT provider do for an independent insurance agency?

A managed IT provider keeps your agency's systems running, secure, and backed up, so your team can focus on clients. That includes help when the agency management system, carrier portals, or email stop working; security for client information; tested backups; and planning for upgrades and growth.

Do Ohio and Indiana insurance agencies need a written information security program?

It depends on the agency's size. Ohio's insurance data security law (ORC Chapter 3965) exempts licensees with fewer than 20 employees, under $5 million in revenue, or under $10 million in assets from its information security program requirements. Indiana's law (IC 27-2-27) exempts licensees with fewer than 50 employees from its core program requirements. Even exempt agencies are often asked about security on E&O and cyber insurance applications, so it's worth knowing where you stand. Confirm your obligations with your attorney.

How do we switch IT providers without disrupting renewal season?

Plan the switch with a dedicated project manager and a firm cutover date. Our Great Start onboarding runs about 10 weeks, and we coordinate directly with your current provider so systems, accounts, and passwords transfer cleanly. We can also time the cutover around your busiest renewal months.

Do you work with our agency management system?

Yes. We've supported independent agencies on several agency management systems since 2011. We ask that agencies keep an active maintenance agreement with their software vendor, so we can work with that vendor when an issue needs their help.

How quickly will someone answer when we call?

During the business day, a technician answers the phone live. After hours, our answering service reaches a technician for urgent issues. Guaranteed response times for critical issues depend on your service level.

How much does managed IT cost for an insurance agency?

Most agencies invest $175–$325 per user per month, depending on the number of users, offices, and the level of security and support.
